About Monique

Monique Anderson is a professional landscape architect with extensive experience in public facility design and community-driven planning. Based in Sitka, she brings a strong understanding of local issues and opportunities and is skilled at fostering meaningful dialogue with residents and stakeholders. Monique is a creative problem solver who emphasizes clear graphic communication throughout the design and planning process.

Prior to founding Anderson Land Planning in 2011, she served as Parks Superintendent for the Municipality of Anchorage and worked as a staff landscape architect at Land Design North in Anchorage.

In addition to Monique’s eye for design, she loves sharing her passion and knowledge about Alaska flora and fauna aboard Sailboat BOB.
