About Monique

Professional Landscape Architect Monique Anderson offers exceptional experience in public facility design and community collaboration.  With her location in Sitka, she can analyze local issues and opportunities and facilitate a seamless conversation with residents.  Ms. Anderson is a creative problem solver and places a strong emphasis on graphic communication during the design and planning process.  Prior to her establishment of Anderson Land Planning, Monique served as Anchorage Parks Superintendent and was a staff landscape architect at Land Design North in Anchorage.

In addition to Monique’s eye for design, she loves sharing her passion and knowledge about Alaska aboard Sailboat BOB.

“My approach for all projects is to listen, listen, listen. I love collaborating with other professions and artists as well. I’m also attracted to projects for the greater good. My designs are functional and subtle – never super flash. It works for Alaskans.” – Monique Anderson
